Characteristic Tool Tips

When completing a Characteristic Evaluation in the Competency Review there are Tool Tips that can be displayed for each of the Evaluation Options. This function maintains those Tool Tips.

Administration Notes:

If your organization has customized either the tool tips or learning and growth ratings terminology please ensure they continue to closely align with each other.

•In the Employee Settings click Reviews.

•Mouse over the second policy, Characteristic Tooltips, which will highlight in white.  

•Click Customize to open the Customize Characteristic Tooltips screen.

•From the pull down menu determine which Scoring Ranges is to be viewed.

•The selected Tooltip is in a black bold font.

•The Tooltip Number corresponds to the Competency Characteristic Evaluation Option.

1.Double click the desired Tooltip or select the desired Tooltip and click View Actions > Edit to open the Edit Tool Tips screen to customize the text.

2.Note: The Learning and Growth Feedback Policy How many response options do you use in Employee Learning and Growth Reviews (5/10) determines whether you are using 5 Competency Characteristic Evaluation Options or 10.

3.Enter the desired text in the text boxes

4.Click to save changes return to the Customize Characteristics Tool Tips screen with the list refreshed to show any changes.

5.Click to return to the Customize Characteristics Tool Tips screen without saving changes.

When displayed in the Characteristic Evaluations of the Competency Review the tool tips appear as follows when moving the mouse over an  Evaluation Option:

When completing Work Plan Evaluations in the Work Plan Reviews there are Tool Tips that can be displayed for each of the Evaluation Options. This function maintains those Tool Tips.
