Reset Password

People who need to access ENCV – perhaps only once or twice a year to complete a learning and growth review - no longer need to contact the System Administrator to get their User Id's and/or passwords reset if they have forgotten them.  A secure, easy to use feature called ‘User Id/Password Reset’  has been introduced.

The Classic Login screen is still available. Please contact support@encv.com for assistance.

Reset Password is located on the main menu if the policy is turned on.

Administrator Notes:

•The Administration>System Settings>Security>Passwords> "Do you want to allow users to request a new password via email?" determines whether Reset Password is displayed on the Main menu. When they click on the words 'Reset Password?' upon log on, an email with a randomly generated password will be automatically generated by the software and sent to the logged in User.

  NOTE: This functionality will only work if employee/user passwords are entered in the ENCV database.

•Enter your User ID,  if forgotten, a Message will pop-up to explain why you are unable to proceed. You can use the email address assigned to your account to log-in.

The software will generate different messages of errors that will occur.

•If the email address is assigned to more than one user or is unrecognized the following notification will generate.

•Click OK. Check your email address.

If you have forgotten your password,

•Click the "Reset Password" link to obtain a new temporary password.

•Check your Inbox of your E-Mail Service Provider. eg. Outlook.

Administrator Notes:

•The Administration>System Settings>Security>Passwords> "Do you require user passwords to be complex?"

Notes: This Policy determines if the user passwords are required to meet complex guidelines for enhanced security.  The password must be a minimum of 8 characters and contain at least 3 of the 4 following character types: Uppercase, Lowercase, Numeric, Special Characters (such as #, $, %).

Resetting the Password generates a screen advising you the password has been reset, check your email for the temporary password and to log in here.

Note: The copy/paste feature is unavailable when copying your new password from your email to the Login Screen.
