Link Jobs to Users |
This function is used to link specific Job(s) to certain Users. This link does not impact what the user sees on the Jobs screen (if they have access to it as well).
Note: The Jobs - User Assigned and Link Jobs to Users functions are intended for use during the preliminary setup of jobs. This functionality is useful if you have a Job Evaluation Committee with different members assigned to complete Job Questionnaires for specific Jobs.
In the Users screen (Administration module > Users): •Select the User. •Click the Link icon (). •The screen that opens shows each job linked to the User.
Note: Jobs must already be in the system in order to select them. To create a job, please see the Help topic: Jobs.
Job Selection To add a Job to a User: •Click to add a Job. •The "Select Job" screen will open. Use the Search Box to search for a specific Job by typing the job reference or title of the job you are looking for.
•Search for the Job you wish to assign.
•Select the Job. (It will automatically be added to the list of jobs assigned to the user.) Note: the Jobs list will show all Jobs, even those that are incomplete.
To remove a Job from a User: •Select the Job in the Assigned Jobs screen. •Click . •A confirmation message will appear: •Click to remove the Job assignment or to close confirmation message.
Note: Removing a Job or Jobs from the selected User does not delete the Job from the system.
